Teletherapy, or online speech therapy, is convenient and effective. We work to accommodate your schedule, and therapy sessions are generally as helpful as an in-person meeting for most families. We make our online sessions fun and engaging, using digital strategies to enhance the experience.
When you are worried about your child, waiting can feel like the hardest part. If you are concerned that your child is not meeting milestones, it makes sense to reach out to us for an evaluation and possible support. Every child is unique, but here are some typical benchmarks for most kids:
- 0-6 months: cooing or making little noises
- 6-9 months: babbling or sounds like ba-ba or ma-ma
- 9-15 months: saying first words
- 16- 18 months: ~ about 10 words
- 19 months- 2 years: usually 50+ words and tying 2 words together like “mama up”

Insurance & Billing
Kefi is an out-of-network provider, but if you are interested in submitting to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, we will provide you with a superbill/medical receipt. Most insurance plans do offer out-of-network reimbursement for speech therapy; however, you should check the details of your insurance plan to understand how much they cover. Insurance coverage may vary based on your plan and the specific diagnosis.
Although it is your responsibility to check your own insurance provider for your particular coverage regarding out-of-network therapy, we are more than happy to answer questions and support your process. If you have any questions, please email alexandra@keficlinic.com.
For any more questions, please email info@keficlinic.com or schedule a free consultation and we’ll get back to you right away!
